The BMW 3.0 CS has been on my list of desirables since I spotted a Fjord Blue version on the North Circular Road when I was seven. It’s a combination of the light and elegant profile and trademark aggressive shark nose grille treatment that make it so appealing. Add a set of Alpina multi spoke alloy wheels to finish – perfection.
I spent several hours drawing, then re-drawing these curves until I was absolutely sure they were a perfect representation of the originals. This is less detailed than many of the other artworks here, as I wanted to keep the focus on the graphics, hence even the bodywork has very little shading. I hope you’ll agree that it makes for a pretty punchy wall graphic.
