The BMW 3.0 CSL has been blessed with some of the most beautiful livery designs in racing history, particularly the Art Cars. This Group 5 Hermetite team car has an equally eye-catching livery courtesy of their sponsor Hermetite gasket jointing.
I spent several hours drawing, then re-drawing these curves until I was absolutely sure they were a perfect representation of the originals. This is less detailed than many of the other artworks here, as I wanted to keep the focus on the graphics, hence even the bodywork has very little shading. I hope you’ll agree that it makes for a pretty punchy wall graphic.
